    Below is the latest schedule for the 22nd N.C. Regiment, Company B, also known as Kirk’s Raiders (3rd N.C. Mounted Infantry, USA). We are looking forward to our best year yet, and we have selected a wide variety of events to keep us busy.  There should be something for everyone here!  All events except as otherwise noted should be as fully attended as we can muster, and all are excellent opportunities to drill, learn and teach the public. However, maximum effort means exactly that – we would like to have absolutely as many of our members as possible attend those events!
 
     Our 2009 insurance will remain with Valley Division through the overall command of the 22nd N.C. companies.  Insurance is $12.00 annually per person (spouses and children must be paid for separately to be covered).

Special note: Unless otherwise indicated, all events on our schedule are shooting events! That means bring weapons, caps, rolled rounds and extra powder. In some cases we may not be able to fire weapons, but we should always come prepared.

January 31:  Camp of Instruction, Cane Creek, Rutherford County

February 27-March 1:  Battle for Broxton Bridge, Broxton Bridge Plantation, SC

April 3-5:  Battle of Burnsville, NC

April 25:  Stoneman's Raid, Lenoir, NC.

May 1-3:  Battle for Columbia, Columbia, SC

June 5-7:  Skirmish at Warm Springs, Hot Springs, NC

Shook House living history -- July 10-12, downtown Clyde, NC -- in conjunction with the 25th NC.  Bring both uniforms, but mostly Union impression this time.  Saturday evening meal provided.  Direction to the site can be found on the Shook House website:  http://www.shookmuseum.org

$15 for "express registration" through August 3 -- no on-site check-in required, passes will be mailed to prepaid participants.  Confederate only.  Our biggest event of the year -- large turnout expected for 145th anniversary.
